Die ersten Reverend Elvis LPs “Moral Panic” haben Suzy Q Records erreicht.
Eigentlich wollte ich dann auch paar Tage Urlaub machen. Aber ich werde wohl das Coverartwork noch mal überarbeiten müssen. Na ja es gibt schlimmere Arbeit.

Die Aufnahmen sind gemacht, Mastering ist fertig und die ganzen Artworks sind erstellt. Kann es nun losgehen. Nächste Woche werde ich mich mal mit den Presswerken in Verbindung setzen. Alles lange nicht mehr gemacht. Mal sehen, wie lang die Wartezeiten sind. Im Herbst wird sie hoffentlich auf schönem tiefschwarzem Vinyl erscheinen.

I do what I do!
I’ve been mastering the new record for days, which means you have to listen to the songs all the time. It will probably be different than many people expect. The last 2 years have been extremely intense for me. Also very different from what I expected. And I also know that I’ve disappointed a lot of people. But that also means that many people expect something from me. Which also makes me proud. I do things out of a feeling, I don’t calculate anything. Maybe it really is cowardice or maybe it’s just honesty, I’m not sure either. But what will certainly be honest is the new album and that’s what counts for me. That’s what I do.

New Record
Die meisten Lieder der neuen Platte sind aufgenommen und ich habe mir heute Nacht mal die erste Rohfassung angehört. Ihr bekommt sie natürlich in höchster Qualität auf Vinyl. Es ist nicht gerade eine Scheibe die aus der “Hüfte geschossen” ist. Ich hoffe, dass wir es schaffen, die Verworrenheit unserer Zeit als Musik darzustellen. Zumindest fühlt es sich so an, als wär keine Zeit für Entertainment, sondern für etwas mehr Tiefe. Wir versuchen das. Der Herr wird uns helfen.
