By far the most successful D.I.Y. band in 2023
was Trio Mandili. Almost unnoticed by the old, declining cultures, they have risen to become absolute, worldwide superstars. I have to say, I find the music “strange” to put it mildly. But many people see it differently, so honor to whom honor is due.

What continued to impress me this year was the brief but spectacular success of Oliver Anthony. He was called a lot of names, he wasn’t right, he wasn’t a suitable person. But few things have fitted into this world better than that! Who needs this world full of lies, hatred and war? Do you like it? And if someone says it’s shit, they’re out… fuck you. Thank you Chris!
